Polyptychodon was a genus of shoet-necked pliosaur that lived during the Albian stage of the Cretaceous. Fossils of this Pliosaur have been found in Europe and North America.

The type specimen, P. interruptust, is known from Albian stage deposies in England. After a comparrison of Polyptychodon vertebrae and specimens of Kronosaurus, scientist estimate its size to have been about 7 meters (25 feet).
